The 'Mon Identité numérique' is the official Egyptian and Moroccan application for authenticating a citizen with official services (banks, administration, etc.). The application reads data from the identity card to authenticate the citizen. Finally, after reading the ID card, the citizen may be asked to perform facial recognition.
